Parking and front door access at Hardwick Farm

The parking area is which is accessed between two stone pillars which are approximately 108" apart.

The ground for parking is covered with small stones.

The front door is accessed by 2 steps 12'' long 5½'' deep and 84'' wide, then 1 step 26'' long 5½'' deep and 84'' wide and another step which is 38'' long 5½'' deep and 84” wide and the last step 7½'' long 2½'' deep and 36” wide.

The front door is 30'' wide there is also a hand rail located on the right hand side of the steps.

Main entrance, reception & hallway

The reception is approx 7ft wide by 6ft long, we also have an additional area which has brochures and travel information available measuring 4ft wide by 11ft long.

There is a 32'' doorway into the breakfast room from the reception area.

We do offer to help with luggage to be taken to the bedrooms.

Guests are asked to book in between 4pm and 6pm, unless by prior arrangement and departure time is by 10am.

There is an outside light over the parking area, the hall is well lit and guests have their own keys to come and go as they please.

Public areas – hall, stairs, landing, corridors etc

The stairs are made up of a straight flight of 16 steps 10'' long 7'' deep and 3'' wide on the right hand side there is a strong wooden banister.

At the top of the stairs are all three bedrooms, with numbers on the doors, which are accessed from this landing.

There is a light on the landing which remains on all night. There is also a fire alarm and extinguisher on the landing and a fire alarm in the hall.

Public areas – sitting room, lounges, lobbies etc

As you enter the farm house situated on your right is a door 32'' wide which opens onto the large breakfast room. There are two large tables available – these are also available should visitors wish to bring food back to eat in the evening.

Bedrooms

We have digital free-view TV, these are mounted on the walls and have remote controls.

All bedrooms are carpeted with two armchairs in each room.

The door on entrance to bedrooms is 29'' wide approx.

The two en-suite rooms have zip and link beds, so when linked together become super-king size – 6ft wide, 75'' long and 24'' high. When apart they become twin beds, which are 3ft wide, 75'' long and 24'' high each.

There are tea and coffee making facilities in each room by means of a cordless kettle, all kettles have visible water gauges for you to see when full.

There is good contrast between furniture, furnishing and wall finishes.

There are also tables on both sides of the bed and extra bedding is stored at the bottom of the wardrobe.

There are two lights above the beds with pull cords on them as well as the main light.

Bathroom, shower-room & WC [en-suite or shared]

The two en-suites contain basin, toilet and shower.

Room 1 – the en-suite door is 30'' wide and has a 10mm step into the shower tray which measures 29'' square.

Room 2 – the en-suite door is 27'' wide and has a 10mm step in to the shower tray which measures 27½'' square.

The private bathroom contents a basin, toilet and bath with shower over it, the bath measures overall 27'' wide by 64'' long.

The en-suites and bathroom all have vinyl flooring and bath mats are provided.

The private bathroom is 13ft from the bedroom.

Additional information

  • There is no smoking inside the house.
  • No dogs allowed in the house.
  • If visitors have anything they need to put in the fridge we are very happy for them to do so.
  • Due to insurance we are unable to accommodate children under 16, sorry for any inconvenience.

Emergencies / fire

If there is an emergency in the day, or night, we have two rooms downstairs and one upstairs, the doors are marked ‘private’, all you have to do is knock on them and someone will come to assist. In the case of a fire we have an assembly point which is by the entrance to the car park, at the front of the house.
